Vaughan to seek Hagan's seat

Don Vaughan will run for state Sen. Kay Hagan's seat.

With Hagan running for the Democratic nomination against U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole, the former Greensboro City Council member told the News & Record that he will seek her seat.

Vaughan, a Democrat, served on the City Council from 1991 to 2005. He ran for Hagan's seat in 1997.
