Under the Dome

The Hunt club

The old Jim Hunt crowd gathered in Raleigh on Friday for the groundbreaking of the library that will bear the former governor's name and for lunch at the Park Alumni Center at N.C. State University, Rob Christensen reports.

The crowd included a who's who from Hunt's 16 years as governor, including Jim Phillips, former chairman of the UNC Board of Governors; former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Burley Mitchell; Norris Tolson, a transportation secretary under Hunt; former Ambassador Jeanette Hyde; Hunt's former spokeman and strategist Gary Pearce; former Human Resources secretary Lucy Bode; former Cultural Resources secretary Betty McCain; former aide Ed Turlington, and former state Democratic chairwoman Barbara Allen.

Just to name a few.

And what would a gathering of politicians be without a little fund raising?

At the lunch, Hunt announced a $20 million fund raising campaign to help cover some of the costs of the library that will also serve as headquarters for the Institute for Emerging Issues, the think tank Hunt created.

"This is a marvelous opportunity," Hunt said. "It really is."

Re: The Hunt club

N.C. State University celebrated the 25th birthday of its innovative Centennial Campus today in a fitting manner as it broke ground on a new library that will bear the name of former North Carolina governor Jim Hunt. The new library will house Gov. Hunt's Institute for Emerging Issues think tank, which is a primary source for innovative ideas on a wide area of social issues that challenge our community, state, nation and world. We should be very proud of the work that Gov. Hunt has rendered through the years. With the establishment of the library in his name, it is assured that his legacy to good government and outstanding leadership in education will endure.

Re: The Hunt club

Maybe Waterfront Sportsman and the Environmental Investigation Coalition can get the Feds to stop the fraudulent funding of the Jin Hunt Library and get his name removed from every building and sign in the state of North Carolina before Jim Hunt goes to jail.

Hunt lied to the whole World saying he had cleaned up the PCS’s he only had the PCS’s from the Ward Transformer Site dumped into the PCS Mine in Aurora, N.C.

The contaminates, along with Jim Hunts look the other way while PCS steals 78 million gallons of water per day has destroyed the Castle Hayne Aquifer, the drinking water source for 30 million people.

Waterfront Sportsman will attempt top stop the funding of this disgusting tribute to Jim Hunt and Anita Graham Brown.

How can we keep on wasting taxpayer funds on projects that reward people for taxing and stealing money and ignoring the largest environmental and civil injustice in US History?

“Sewergate” is the biggest corruption and environmental crimes in history. Waterfront Sportsman the Environmental Investigation Coalition will have the World Court track him down just like the Nazis.

Jim Hunt created “Sewergate” and the North Carolina Toxic Water Holocaust that continues to kill more people than all the foreign conflicts since the Korean War.

Re: The Hunt club

Janet, Sorry I missed you when I dropped the Freedom of Information Request to Nick Bryne for details of all the investments of the NC State Employees Trust Fund and details of all the “Sewergate” General Statutes 162 Water and Sewer notices of mismanagement & misappropriations of Clean Water Trust Funds, like Bay River & Western Bay River Sewer.

You seem to be focusing only on going forward with what is left of the NC State Employee’s Trust Fund rather than concentrating on the over 20 missing $20 billion dollars. Waterfront Sportsman Wall Street & Finance Expert estimates the NC State Employee Trust Fund to now less than $40 billion.

Your staff seemed to be having a hard time finding the docs. As soon as you give them up, WFS will let you know where the missing 20 billion went.
Try Sara Lang, at Walter Daltons 919-733-0098 lt.gov@nc.gov. She probably took them with her, like Dare O’Conner took the Bay River Sewer File from Les Merritt’s to Larry Leake’s.

Re: The Hunt club

The NC BoE Easley investigation is the equivalent to the Keystone Cops giving Easley a parking ticket while he’s driving a stolen car w/ the front, back seat, & trunk overloaded w/ dead bodies from toxic water.

Millions of NC citizens, soldiers, Marines, & their families who are sick & dying from toxic water want Gov’s Hunt, Easley, & Perdue indicted by Federal authorities for obstruction of justice & misappropriation of Clean Water Trust Funds in the “Sewergate” & the BRAC Scams.

Gov’s Hunt, Easley, & Perdue cover-up of “Sewergate” includes the PCS Mine running an illegal toxic waste dump that has contaminated the Castle Hayne Aquifer which is killing Marines & family members & over permitting & importation of out of state municipal sludge to dilute medical waste like Lab Corp & Burlington which is killing people from the VA to Fort Bragg.

Millions want justice for ‘Sewergate,’ the largest corruption scandal & cover-up in US history.
