Gov. Pat McCrory remains popular among North Carolinians, but Tar Heels have a low opinion of the state legislature, according to a new state-wide poll.
McCrory has a job approval rating of 42 percent with only 26 percent of voters disapproving of the way he handles his office, according to The Elon Poll. But 32 percent said they were not sure of whether they approved or disapproved of the job he is doing.
Only 33 percent approved of the job the legislature was doing, while 41 percent disapproved and 26 percent were unsure.
The Elon Poll surveyed 891 resident between Feb. 24-28 and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.28 percent.
