The circus is coming! The circus is coming!

As a kid, Dome was supposed to go see the Barnum & Bailey/Ringling Brothers Circus with our grandparents in California, but a last-minute bout with the flu intervened.

Now, we're getting the next best thing. The Obama & Clinton Circus is heading to North Carolina.

Sure, there have been some who said that the band of drifters setting up a giant tent out by the highway was not necessarily the circus. (A religious revival, maybe?)

Not anymore. One of the two headline acts — Barack Obama — will be coming to Fayetteville and Charlotte on Wednesday, and a carnival barker is already setting up shop.

Which is all an elaborate way of saying that one of Dome's colleagues got an e-mail this morning from an NBC News reporter. 

She arrived this morning, and she'll be here through the primary.
