Americans for Prosperity is spending $130,000 to send a half million mailers touting Republican gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory just days before the election.
The two fliers (see pdf links below) hit two issues that aren't being discussed much on the campaign trail: medical malpractice and public financing of campaigns.
The conservative group isn't expressing advocating for McCrory's election; instead the issue ads suggest voters call McCrory's campaign and tell him thanks. "Stay strong, Pat," the fliers say.
One note: the public financing piece cites an N&O article. It was published on June 24, 2010. The flier has the incorrect date.

It is probably a good time to put the candidate over the party as North Carolina needs new leadership in the Governor's Mansion.
