The State Employees Association of North Carolina is calling on its members to rally in front of the Legislative Building from noon to 12:45 p.m. Saturday. The rally is the final stop in a series of events the organization has held across the state to urge legislators to protect public services.
SEANC wants lawmakers to implement ideas from a report compiled from budget-savings ideas by state workers, which the group says has more than $10 billion in savings. The report can be found at http://tinyurl.com/4rgrsvf.
SEANC will use Saturday's rally to film a TV commercial. It happens on Bicentennial Mall at Jones Street.
