A prominent Iredell County political family is mourning the loss of Superior Court Judge Chris Collier.
Collier, 48, died this morning after suffering a suspected acute primar arrhythmia, according to the Statesville Record & Landmark.
Collier is the son of former state lawmaker and former Judge Bob Collier, who is the current chairman of the state Board of Transportation. Read more from the Statesville paper here.
