U.S. Rep. Heath Shuler may endorse Hillary Clinton.
CNN's Political Ticker reports that the Democrat will endorse the winner of his Congressional District after Election Day.
Given the demographics of Shuler's district, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is predicted to win there on Tuesday. Shuler was heavily courted by President Clinton over the last several weeks. He also attended a meet and greet session at the Clintons' Washington home earlier this spring.
Bill Clinton was scheduled to attend church with Shuler this morning.

May 4, 2008 - 2:37pm — ThomasBrockI'll be most surprised if he doesn't endorse Senator McCain...Shuler, while good for upholding the Democratic Majority, is the our version of Congressman Jones, Jr.

May 4, 2008 - 12:54pm — ProctorCongressman Shuler will have a politically delicate softshoe dance step to negotiate: he needs to make sure that he doesn't inadvertently give former Presideent Clinton any tips on how Arkansas can beat the Tennessee Volunteers in SEC football this fall.
And if Clinton hollers out "Sooie!" Shuler can just respond: "That's the Republican congresswoman from Charlotte."
