A new web application aimed at mobile devices will help track the action on Jones Street.
The Roll Call -- developed by students with the Reese News project at the UNC School of Journalism -- uses a simple interface and graphics to illuminate how lawmakers vote on certain legislation. A helpful tab listing lawmakers even notes how often they voted with their political party.
The project is part of the UNC journalism school's larger initiative dubbed WhichWayNC, a "mobile first" effort to make political reporting and data more accessible to voters. Check out the site here.
