Robinson seeking GOP post

David Robinson, chairman of the Wake County Republican Party, announced today that he wants to be the chairman of the state GOP.

Robinson issued a press release announcing his candidacy to be state GOP chairman. He said the state party should "challenge government corruption and liberal agendas" every day of the year.

State Chairwoman Linda Daves has said she will not seek re-election to another term. Former Lee County Commissioner Chad Adams and former state Sen. Woody White are considering runs. Guilford County stockbroker Marcus Kindley has announced that he is seeking the post.

Re: Robinson seeking GOP post

Hey liberals, don't let facts get in the way. Today featured the worst single-day Dow Industrial performance in inaugural history.

Re: Robinson seeking GOP post

This is great stuff. Every republican needs to do what ever it takes to ensure the inept chad adams is not chairman! Go Robinson!!! Adams will not make an effective anything! Well, not true, he would be good as a garbage techinician.

Re: Robinson seeking GOP post

The verdict is in on the economic snake oil that Republicans have been selling since 1980. The Dow dropped below 8000 today.

Need someone that has PR skills

Announcing on an historic day when our president is inaugurated, our first black president for that matter, doesn't give much encouragement that Mr. Robinson brings much to the table in that department.

Re: Robinson seeking GOP post

But Robin Hayes wants it.

Isn't reversing himself on Fast Track and CAFTA worth anything?

The GOP owes him.
