The Republican National Committee is about to go up on the air with TV ads in North Carolina and six other battleground states, MSNBC.com is reporting.
The $5.1 million buy is the first for the RNC in the general election. That means it will be the fourth national Republican-leaning group on the air on North Carolina joining the Romney campaign, Crossroads GPS, and Americans for Prosperity.
The ads are also going up in Colorado, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia.
