Republicans are playing games with Saturday's state Democratic Party convention, crafting a scavenger hunt game.
The faux search is replete with references to talking points pushed by the GOP, such as linking the unpopular Gov. Bev Perdue with Lt. Gov. Walter Dalton, the Democratic nominee for governor.
"Although their troubles have been well-documented, this convention is the first time that many of the Tar Heel State’s leading Democrats will be in the same room. It will be curious to see how the Democrats interact with each other, and what guidelines they’ve put forward to govern the convention," the party said in a statement.
At least one point is partially complete. Dalton didn't pose for a photo op with embattled Chairman David Parker, but Dalton did give him a handshake a back pat as he left the stage this morning. Dalton called for Parker to resign his post; Parker refused.
