Rep. Darren Jackson wins NCAE endorsement

Rep. Darren Jackson has won the endorsement of the N.C. Association of Educator's Political Action Committee in the Democratic primary for the district 39 House seat in Wake County that he now holds.

Jackson is being challenged in the primary by Don Mial and Michael Slawter, with the winner in the primary winning the seat. There is no Republican candidate.

Jackson was appointed to the seat in 2009 when Linda Coleman was named state personnel director.

Rep. Jackson

I have been very impressed with Rep. Jackson's work in the General Assembly. He unlike many, has a conscience and he has the ability to work with everyone to get things done. Keep up the good work!
