The state budget has been put into a 239-page bill. For those of us who don't speak "budget," the money report summarizes spending and cuts by category.

According to this they have eliminated $800,000,000 from public school funding and only eliminated 62 jobs. Really? I mean seriously? Can you say "Pass the buck"? They have totally ignored the fact that the cuts they have made will force the layoff of thousands of teachers, making the 1600 public safety job cuts look like chump change....
