Raleigh-Wake endorses Anderson


Robin AndersonThe Raleigh-Wake Citizens Association is endorsing Robin Anderson.

The endorsement is the second that the candidate for commissioner for labor has received, giving her the most endorsements of any candidate in the race.

The assocation, which represents Raleigh's black community, was founded 75 years ago.

Anderson has worked as a lawyer for 18 years and also worked with a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus, U.S. Rep. John Conyers. She also shaped workplace policy for 100,000 employees as Chair of the State Personnel Commission.

"I am extremely honord by this endorsement," Anderson said in a press release. "As commissioner I will focus on keeping North Carolina citizens safe."
