Gov. Beverly Perdue, on Sept. 10, speaking to the state Economic Development Board about her upcoming travel in China and Japan and taking a swipe at the pricey limo rentals at taxpayer expense during former First Lady Mary Easley's European trips.
I wasn't taking your first comment as a compliment, I could see the sarcasm dripping off the page. So okay since you feel that she does have to take this junket, a few questions. How many people will it take for her to accomplish this junket. Can the public have an schedule for the trip? How much time will actually be spent in serious meetings versus sightseeing? And are you going along? :) When I was a child my grandpa nicknamed me GiggleBox.
I'm giggling at you if you don't get China and Japan have more to do with North Carolina's economic development now than Apex or Lizard Lick.
It's big boy time, and your criticism falls short, though our Governor seems to get it.
Thanks for the giggle GiggleBox.
j1c2kp, j1c2kp, j1c2kp...Excellent work!
Taking a swipe at Purdue for taking a swipe at Easley PROVES you're not partisan, and so in the know!!!
Beverly, Beverly, Beverly, How many will be in your entourage? In this day of high tech gadgets, why not simply do a video conference with these people that you insist you must vacation oops mean visit with? They really do have great video conferencing available these days. Show the citizens that you are in the know!
Re: The Wheels on the Junket
Really? You got that? You must be Unaffiliated then because no Republican has ever seen the broad side of a barn no matter how many times the American voter nails his tail to it.
