Road work enhanced DOT official's & Perdue's property?

It sounds as if we need Pat Stith now more than ever to investigate corruption by DOT board members that were appointed by Easley and that conveniently own property next to improvements (see article in todays N&O). There is some speculation that Perdue and her two boys did the same thing. While this may have been looked into prior to the primary, the citizens of NC deserve to get the updated story about the democratically controlled DOT and Perdue's questionable dealings prior to the November election.
