This is a great thing for this county.

U.S. Sen. Richard Burr, a Republican, regarding a $2 million grant for a new fire station in Bethlehem, N.C., at a ceremony on Oct. 16 celebrating the funding. The grant was a result of the federal stimulus bill that Burr voted against in February, calling it a "hastily written bill" that would ensure "a massive debt for our grandchildren."

Where do I give to keep Burr's current consultants on payroll?

Because Paul Shumaker is doing an excellent job.

Does Shumaker work for Phil Berger too, or is incompetence and an inability to shave just more of a party-wide thing for Republicans?

Hey to Senator Liddy! Governor Pat, and of course President McCain, and ALL the Republican consultants that got RICH off donations by losing!

I'm glad even Burr (R) can admit his petty partisan mistake

The stimulus is working. Senator Burr just said so.

Unlike Bush's Wall Street Bailout Burr had to send Brooke to empty the ATM's after supporting.

So to recap Burr's latest position.

Bush's Wallstreet Bailout he supported... bad. Obama's Main Street Stimulus he opposed... "a great thing for this country!"
