Who's the next AG?

If Cooper decides to run for Senate, will he resign as AG? And if he resigns, does the governor appoint a new AG or will a special election be called?

Re: Quick Hits

AG Roy Cooper could gather votes by getting NC rid of the 4.00 cable TV TAX on my Charter Communications bill every month!

Conversely Mr. Pearce, most of the people in Shulers district support his anti porkulus votes...how will he vote today? WHY would Shuler support outrageous spending that will NOT create jobs, despite what Hagan sez.
They LIE when it suits!
