Gov.-elect Beverly Perdue has gotten some expert advice.
Fourteen advisory groups have given the governor-elect reports on their recommendations and potential problems her administration could face.
The reports cover each of the 10 Cabinet posts as well as aging, mental health, energy and military.
"These reports are a tremendous help as I look to find policy solutions for the challenges we face as a state and to improve service delivery to our citizens," she said in a statement.
The reports were compiled by faculty from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Government after public meetings in November facilitated by the N.C. Small Business Technology Development Center.
They are available on Perdue's Web site here.
