Palin to stop in Raleigh Saturday

Sarah Palin will be at the N.C. State Fairgrounds Saturday.

The Republican vice presidential candidate will hold a "Road to Victory Rally" along with Congresswoman Heather Wilson, state Rep. Ric Killian, Lt. Col. Orson Swindle and Capt. Sneakers Nesby.

Tickets will be available starting at 7 p.m. tonight at the Raleigh headquarters and beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the North Raleigh and Durham offices.

How awesome are those names?!! Lt. Col. Orson Swindle sounds like a lost character from Catch 22. And Capt. Sneakers Nesby! Are you kidding me? The 80-year old lady across the street from me has a cat named Captain Sneakers Nesby.

Would someone please give this poor woman a remedial course in spelling? I just got a mailer on her letterhead dated "Wendnesday Morning". Ouch, that is no typo! We must have politicians who are "Smarter that a 5th grader"
