This is the weirdest shunning I've ever witnessed. We know Dome is "dead" to James, because he has announced it at least twice and denounced Dome even more often, yet he keeps coming back and playing with this "dead" thing. It just smacks of necrophilia.

I agree that the idiotic, racist comment should be left up so that whomever posted it can start cringing when he or she sobers up, and, again, so that others are reminded that racism really isn't a thing of the past but is alive and thriving.

Freedom of speech does not mean that one must never criticize someone else. In fact, the very philosophical underpinnings of free speech are that it is best to counter stupid, offensive or racist ideas with more speech, allowing the marketplace of ideas to sort out what is true and right.
