Barack Obama is touting his economic plan.
The Democratic presidential candidate announced today that he will be printing 10,000 copies of his 47-page economic blueprint that will be distributed at his field offices and community events and by volunteers going door-to-door.
The book will also be available to download on his Web site.
"North Carolinians have a lot at stake in this election, and I believe they deserve to know exactly what I'll do as president to turn this economy around and strengthen the middle class," he said in a statement.
On Tuesday, April 15, at 5:30 p.m., Obama will also hold a "North Carolina Economic Forum" inviting voters to hold houes parties and meetings around the state. Attendees will receive a copy of the book and hear from his economic advisors.
The campaign said it is holding the event on Tax Day because Obama wants a fairer tax code.
