Obama rally in Asheville Sunday

Barack Obama will hold a rally in Asheville Sunday.

The Democratic presidential candidate, who will be practicing for a debate next week while staying in the Asheville area this weekend, will hold a rally at Asheville High School at 2 p.m.

This is the third time in two weeks that Obama has been to North Carolina. He's stopped at previous visits in Greensboro and Charlotte.

The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged.

Re: Obama rally in Asheville Sunday

I am sorry Ryan...I thought the national election for President does affect North Carolina. Isn't that why you reported the viewer ratings in Greensboro event...during the Obama/McCain event. What was the viewer rating in Greenville?

Just trying to keep this blog fair and balanced.

Re: Obama rally in Asheville Sunday

This blog is about North Carolina politics. If something N.C.-related had come up, I would have posted it (and I just did).

Thanks for reading!

Re: Obama rally in Asheville Sunday

How come there is no debate coverage Ryan...No way to spin the fact that Palin clearly won and even caught Obama/Obiden in a lie...the political pundits can not spin what was said last night.
