President Obama has picked the Tar Heels.
In an interview with ESPN.com, Obama said that UNC-Chapel Hill's men's basketball team will win the NCAA tournament over the Louisville Cardinals.
It was the second time he's favored the team. In March of 2008, as North Carolina's presidential primary approached, Obama told 850 The Buzz that the Tar Heels would win because of Tyler Hansbrough.
The Kansas Jayhawks ended up winning that year afer defeating Carolina in the semifinals.
"Now, for the Tar Heels that are watching, I picked you all last year — you let me down," Obama said in a TV interview. "This year, don't embarass me in front of the nation, all right? I'mcounting on you. I still got those sneakers you guys gave me."
Obama also made a bet with basketball writer Andy Katz: White House M&Ms versus an ESPN water bottle.

-Frasor played way too many minutes....Davis played way too few minutes...
-D Greene didn't SHOW UP at all in Atlanta.........
all big reasons that sent the team home on Saturday......
and IF Lawson does not play....and should these reasons continue after the Radford Road Kill game.......
i'd expect somewhere before Detroit..... "Deja' Vu all over again"

By the way - Obama cannot fire executives, failed or otherwise. He has no power over legal contracts. He is just the president, not a dictator.

First thing this morning it was on supporting Sec of Treasury and now he's doing the same for UNC. You know this mean UNC loses this weekend and the Sec of Treasury will be gone before too long. Nothing like a vote of confidence being given before you're asked to resign.

Talking basketball isn't creating jobs, it isn't feeding those who've lost their livelihood (and possibly their homes), it isn't firing failed executives of companies wiping their behinds with our hard earned tax dollars.
