Barack Obama may return to North Carolina before the election.
According to a local source close to the campaign, the Democratic presidential candidate will hold an event in Charlotte the day before the Nov. 4 election.
The event has not been officially confirmed by the Obama campaign.
It would be Obama's seventh visit to the state since the May 6 primary and his fourth visit to Charlotte this year.

Re: Obama in Charlotte Monday?
October 30, 2008 - 2:39pm — Gosh (not verified)NC is gravy for him since he won already. Sounds like he wants to make sure he's got Larry Kissell in Congress too to help get America out of the ditch the GOP drove us into.

October 30, 2008 - 2:00pm — Isaac136I hope he can get a larger venue than he did here on Wednesday. Had there been a larger space for the crowds and more parking for the cars, you know he'd have packed in well over the 28,000 estimated to have attended.
GO BARAK!
