Obama campaign to go up with new TV ad during Olympics Friday

The Obama campaign will air a TV commercial in North Carolina and other key states tonight during the opening night of the Olympics. In the ad, Obama talks about building the economy from the middle out -- where hard work pays off, responsibility is rewarded, and everyone gets a fair shot.

UPDATE: Robert Reid, Romney spokesman: “Under President Obama, more and more Americans are working harder for less. Confidence is down, unemployment is high, and the middle class is suffering. Mitt Romney knows you don't build a strong economy by denigrating small business owners, raising taxes, and growing government – and he has a pro-growth plan that will help turn our economy around and put people back to work.”
