NRA endorses Smith

The National Rifle Association has endorsed Fred Smith.

The Political Victory Fund of the gun rights group picked Smith in the Republican gubernatorial candidate, giving him an "A" rating.

He is the only North Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate endorsed by the NRA.

I am disappointed in their endorsement. It takes more than barbeque and Lee Greenwood to be governor. I am a NRA member. My wife and I support McCrory.

RTB: The NRA PVF endorsed Bev Perdue also. Got my orange card in the mail today.
