North Carolinians support higher taxes on millionaires

A new poll from Elon University finds that two out of three North Carolinians support higher taxes on those who make more than $1 million a year.

Other results released Friday find that 55 percent of N.C. residents believe President Barack Obama is willing to work with congressional Republicans -- but only 20 percent believe the GOP is willing to work with the president.

The poll -- unlike the PPP surveys below -- questions all resident, not just voters, so it is not an indication of voter sentiment. But those surveyed are split 34-30 on a Democratic verse Republican president.

As for Obama's recent bus trip through North Carolina, 43 percent put it in a favorable light while 33 percent didn't like it.

What about

How many of those class warfare warriors also support wholesale looting, doing away with prisons, and lots of free stuff for angry people who don't bathe?
