NEA to spend $360,000 on ads

The National Education Association will spend more than $300,000 in North Carolina.

As noted previously, the Washington-based teacher's organization is airing a 60-second radio spot touting the work of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beverly Perdue on education.

According to a March 25 letter to the State Board of Elections, the NEA intends to spend $360,000 on the ad campaign.
