Moore endorses Obama

Richard Moore has endorsed Barack Obama.

According to a Feb. 23 item in the Charlotte Observer that Dome missed earlier, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate has endorsed Obama for president. In addition, his wife, Noel, gave the campaign $2,300.

Moore's opponent, Beverly Perdue, is remaining neutral.

"Like a lot of us, she's proud that we have two great candidates running," spokesman David Kochman told the paper. "But (she's) focused on her own race right now."

State Sen. Malcolm Graham has also endorsed Obama.

On Feb. 14, Dome noted several reasons why Moore might endorse Obama, including shoring up support among African-American voters, identifying with an "outsider" candidate and shaking up the race for governor.

We also noted that sooner would be better than later.

Re: Moore endorses Obama

Seems more pertinent than the size of their houses.

Re: Moore endorses Obama

Why should we care who these people endorse?
