Gov. Pat McCrory will visit a Flat Rock elementary school on Friday to read to the students “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” in honor of Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
After the reading at Upward Elementary School in the morning, he’ll mosey over to Black Mountain for a tour of its downtown.
It’s part of his main-street tour of the state – the one that brought him to a Clayton diner last week wearing a Carhartt jacket and hiking shoes, and demanding red hot dogs.
