McCrory for "governer," part III

Pat McCrory's campaign for governor just told Dome the misspelled word was their mistake.

Colleen Brannan, a spokeswoman for McCrory, said "governor" was misspelled "governer" on a press release when a designer tried to polish a graphic that would go out with the e-mail, reports Ryan Teague Beckwith, who is with the McCrory campaign in Jamestown.

The designer realized the mistake and fixed it, but not before a handful of people downloaded the incorrect masthead, she said.

"It was a designer trying to help us out and make something look nice, and it didn't work out," Brannan said.

Re: McCrory for "governer," part III

Perhaps MacRorey should get himself a new campagin manager, a more skilled political hack.

Really, is this the best the GOP can put up this year? Maybe Vinroot should take another hack at the nomination. Ok, i'll stop.

So it was a designer who works for the campaign who hacked the system?

As a Republican, I'm embarrassed that our new "pretty boy" is so...unpolished.
