Hudson whacks Keadle on stimulus money with his own tennis video

Richard Hudson is making a small TV buy to make a big point in his Republican congressional runoff election against Scott Keadle.

The two are fighting for the chance to challenge endangered Democrat Larry Kissell in the 8th District.

Hudson used video footage of the Keadle campaign's YouTube page showing Keadle playing tennis. It's completely unrelated -- though interesting footage -- to the message Hudson is driving home in the campaign: as an Iredell County Commissioner Keadle accepted federal stimulus money. A no-no for some conservatives.

Dee Stewart, Hudson's campaign manager, said the TV buy is $10,000 on cable stations from June 25 through July 2. The runoff election is July 17.
