Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has endorsed Richard Hudson for Congress in North Carolina’s 8th Congressional District.
Hudson will face Scott Keadle of Iredell in July 17 runoff for the Republican nomination. The winner will go on to face Democratic U.S. Rep. Larry Kissell in the November General Election.
Huckabee said Hudson is the “kind of man we need in Congress.”
“Pro-life, pro-family and pro-jobs, I know Richard will be a consistent vote for conservative values in North Carolina,” Huckabee said in a statement. “Further, I know Richard will be a solid vote to repeal Obamacare and will never support a stimulus, bailout or government giveaway. Richard has my full support and trust.”

Richard Hudson Jr? Durr? Non-physical? Wait, so Huckabee is fat?? As your posts lean hard towards gibberish rather than coherent argument, I must ask if I'm attempting to have a message board exchange with the commuter candidate himself...Scott Keadle, is that you??

July 2, 2012 - 5:22pm — AwesomeSuaceI mean really. This is the non-physical conservative I should listen to?
Richard Hudson, Jr. says what?
July 2, 2012 - 5:16pm — AwesomeSuaceDURRRR.
I actually spelled "suace" correctly as it is my name.
July 2, 2012 - 5:00pm — AwesomeSuaceAs for you loving on Richard Hudson on blogs, let me say this. Hi Richard Hudson.
Check your FEC reports. You can't even spell your own name right without getting fined.
What is with you?
You misspelled "sauce"
July 2, 2012 - 2:53pm — BurkeYou're grasping for a point but unfortunately you don't really make one outside of "I misspelled my own username". Are you for or against CAFTA? I checked and Hudson did not work for Hayes at the time of the CAFTA vote, seems kind of silly to hold that against him. Hudson is on record as opposed to similar trade deals. Meanwhile, the other guy, funded almost entirely by a special interest group not located anywhere near NC, is 100% in favor.
And to that most vague yet ominous sounding "insider" slur...where exactly is the Club for Growth based again?
Who endorsed who?
July 2, 2012 - 12:28pm — AwesomeSuaceWannabes of a feather always stick with Washington insiders.
“Pro-life, pro-family and pro-jobs, I know Richard will be a consistent vote for conservative values in North Carolina,” Huckabee said in a statement.
Unless one of his many bosses cry on the floor and pass CAFTA anyway.
Is this a joke?
