Health care debate on Thursday

The six major gubernatorial candidates will debate health care Thursday.

In two separate forums on UNC-TV, Democratic candidates Richard Moore and Beverly Perdue and Republicans Bill Graham, Pat McCrory, Bob Orr and Fred Smith will answer questions about health care.

The forums will be aired live at 8 p.m. on UNC-NC, the public TV station's digital channel, and re-aired at 10 p.m. on UNC-TV.

Legislative correspondent Kelly McCullen will be the moderator.

The debate is one of a series on major concerns of North Carolina voters. A debate on the economy was held on Jan. 10. A debate on education will be held on April 24.

Re: Health care debate on Thursday

Make SURE they ALL acknowledge that 'healthcare' is NOT a FUNCTION of our government!!! That should make the 'debate' short and sweet! Strive to be smarter than a democrat!!!
