Hayes up for GOP spot?

Robin HayesIs former U.S. Rep. Robin Hayes interested in state GOP chair?

A reliable tipster says the Concord Republican may be considering a run to replace outgoing party chairwoman Linda Daves.

As with the race for Democratic Party chair, much remains in flux.

Former GOP gubernatorial candidate Fred Smith, former Lee County commissioner Chad Adams, and former state Sen. Woody White are also reportedly considering runs.

Guilford County stockbroker Marcus Kindley is already running.

You there is no hate and stupidity from the left?

What Tango?

Uh, agreed somewhat. There's hate, but just hate of your stupidity.

Vote Hayes!

Hayes would be a great insider...

I'm with ya. He's brilliant, and wears the pulse of the Republican Party in this State on his sleeve.

Bitter.

Loser.

Carry.

On.

Re: Hayes up for GOP spot?

You there is no hate and stupidity from the left? You act like no one from the left has ever done or said anything stupid. Or better yet lied like our former Senator Edwards.

Hayes would be a great insider but not someone I would choose as party leader here in NC.

Re: Hayes up for GOP spot?

A completely transparent partisan job would be the first honest work of Hayes' life.

As one of his former constituents, I support this demotion to the Republican wilderness 1000 percent.

Just imagine multi-millionaire Robin Hayes representing nobody but himself, and finally being honest about it. It's perfect.

Rep. Robin Hayes (R-N.C.) has conceded that he did tell a North Carolina crowd that "liberals hate real Americans that work and accomplish and achieve and believe in God," even though he initially denied making such a statement.

Throw in a few exclamation points in that news release and it's like Linda Daves never left in shame.

People didn't forget

that piece of wisdom earned Hayes the undying loyalty of the faith-based right. When one wears ignorance as a badge of courage, anything is possible.

Ugh - Another old white guy.

I guess everyone has forgotten the Jim Hunt ads regarding Hayes's comments that washing your loins after intercourse with lysol (or was it bleach?) was an effective way to prevent AIDS and other STDs.
