Hagan: What fibs do you mean?

Democratic State Sen. Kay Hagan saw the new Elizabeth Dole ad on the Internet, but she said today she isn’t sure what the ad's talking about.

"I've never had anybody call me a liar before," Hagan said. "Also, I cannot figure out specifically what it is she says that we're fibbing about."

The ad, which shows a yappy dog barking at a fence, says Hagan "tries to turn us against Elizabeth Dole." Dole, a Republican, is trying to defend her Senate seat against Hagan, Barb Barrett reports.

The dog commercial is the first negative ad from either campaign, though the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee hit Dole hard with its "rocking chairs" ad that not-so-subtly alluded to Dole’s age.

"This is indicative on how (Dole) has been down in three polls,” Hagan said. "She's scared, she's panicking, and she's putting out this kind of ad."

Re: Hagan: What fibs do you mean?

Before the National Democrats begged you to adopt their liberal stances...you told North Carolina that you were not going to run against Senator Dole...

Then the national Democrats became scared when only Jim Neal filed so then you declared...I consider that a lie as well.

Also Kay...please explain your stance on the death tax.
