Hagan: A lot of competition for banking post

Sen. Kay Hagan was understanding about her committee assignments.

Though the Greensboro Democrat did not get her requested post on the Senate banking committee — despite having worked as vice president of a major North Carolina bank years ago — she said she understood there was a lot of competition this year.

"There'll be another day," she said.

She added that she was "thrilled" to be serving on the Armed Services and Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committees.

She did not get the banking committee...darn she balanced the North Carolina Budget for five years in a row...oh wait the NC Constitution mandates that...

Re: Hagan: A lot of competition for banking post

They appointed Kay Hagan to the Armed Services committee, yet she has not developed an opinion on Iraq. Check her campaign website...nothing of substance...

How does Hagan feel about the surge...what does she think should happen next?

I would ask her or her office, but when I called up there last week, none of them knew what they were talking about and their excuse was..."well I am new and not sure of everything yet...blah blah...no I am not from North Carolina."

The young girl on the other end sounded like she were from up North, perhaps Chuck Schumer recommended her to Hagan....
