Hillary Clinton will campaign in Charlotte on April 28, eight days before North Carolina's presidential primary.
The New York senator is scheduled to attend a campaign event at Uptown's Marshall Park and then a fundraiser at the home of businessman Cameron Harris. One co-sponsor of the fundraiser: Hugh McColl Jr., former chairman of the Bank of America, Jim Morrill reports.
It will be Clinton's first visit to Charlotte since a fundraiser last May.
Harris, a former chairman of the Mecklenburg County Democrats, is leasing office space to the Clinton campaign in Charlotte. He's not bothered by the continued sniping between Clinton and her last rival, Barack Obama.
"I'm probably one of the few people who believes this has been great for the Democratic Party," he says.

Dr. Angelou's post includes the following comments:
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
This is not the first time you have seen Hillary Clinton seemingly at her wits end, but she has always risen, always risen, much to the dismay of her adversaries and the delight of her friends.
Hillary Clinton will not give up on you and all she asks is that you do not give up on her...
Hillary Clinton is a woman. She has been there and done that and has still risen. She is in this race for the long haul. She intends to make a difference in our country.
She is the prayer of every woman and man who long for fair play, healthy families, good schools, and a balanced economy...
Dolores Huerta wrote a post honoring Cesar Chavez and Hillary Clinton at:

Dolores Huerta's comments included the following:
Cesar made ensuring well-being for others an intrinsic part of his life - something that trickled down to thousands, including myself, triggering us to become part of something larger than ourselves. It was then and there -- at that given point in time -- that I helped Cesar found the "United Farm Workers of America." His lifetime of service has paved the way for many, and provided inspiration for countless others.
Throughout her life, Hillary has refused to wait for change to come. She has pushed for change with the full weight of her body and soul, and she has gone all over the world, from Arkansas to China to Washington, D.C. and New York. She has fought for equal pay, a living wage, and health care for our children and security for our families...
Hillary has the support of 34 Retired Admirals and Generals (including 2 former Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff). Watch the video at: http://www.hillaryclinton.com/video/149.aspx
The 34 Retired Admirals and Generals are men and women who risked their lives to defend our freedom. They rose to positions of prominence in the military because of their courage, valor, and excellent judgment. We value the judgment of 34 Retired Admirals and Generals who have said that Hillary is the best choice for Commander-in-Chief. How many Retired Admirals and Generals are supporting Barack Obama to be our next President?
If the MSM had vetted Barack Obama 4 months ago, Hillary could have clinched the nomination on Super Tuesday. When voters learn that Barack Obama's actions contradict his rhetoric, his support will plummet. Someone went online at:

That web site "could have" (does not have) another URL:

Many of Hillary's supporters have parents who grew up in the Great Depression, were combat veterans in World War II, and made tremendous sacrifices, so we could be the first children in our families to attend college. We were devastated when Dr. King was assassinated. We include "Mississippi Burning" in our Top 10 List. We still enjoy dancing to 'The Temptations' and 'The Righteous Brothers.' We're not ashamed to say that.
