Graham raised $252,000 by end of 2007

Bill Graham raised $252,940 by the end of 2007.

The Republican gubernatorial candidate raised $246,992 from major donors, including Salisbury farmer Thomas Abramowski, Parks-Michael Automotive Group President Chester Michael and William Ulm of Bogart, Ga.

He also raised $5,947 from donors who gave less than $50. He did not receive any donations from political action committees, according to a campaign finance report filed with the State Board of Elections last week.

In addition, Graham loaned his campaign $1.2 million.

At the same time, he spent $1.5 million on consulting, staff salaries, an apartment in Salisbury, health insurance and travel expenses.

That left him with $11,002 in cash on hand.
