GOP chair candidates to speak

Republicans will have a chance tonight to hear about how the GOP should mount its comeback from the four candidates running for state GOP chairman.

Chad Adams, Tom Fetzer, Marcus Kindley and Bill Randall will speak tonight to the Western Wake Republican Club annual spring fling dinner in Cary, Rob Christensen reports.

The dinner starts at 6 p.m. at the Business Networking Center at 649 Walnut Street in Cary.

The state party chairmanship race will be decided June 12-14 at the state Republican convention at the Raleigh Convention Center. The four are seeking to replace Linda Daves, who is not seeking another term.

Re: GOP chair candidates to speak

Bob Pruett, 3rd District Chairman and President of the North Carolina District Chairman's Association volunteered for Chad Adams campaign for months. He was in the inner circle. Except for one thing. Adams knew that Pruett was an ethical man and wouldn't except his affair and porn filled emails, so he told Bob it was all a lie, made up by a crazy woman.

After Pruett looked over the emails OBJECTIVELY, noticing IP addresses and personal information that could not have been fake, he confronted Chad and was told that indeed the affair was true and the emails were legit. He told him that everybody knew from the beginning, including Art Pope, but that they had to have a candidate so it was determined they could cover it up.
