Foxx: Fear the health bill

U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx, a Banner Elk Republican, this morning said Americans have more to fear from the Democratic health bill than from terrorists, reports Barb Barrett.

According to a YouTube clip posted by liberal media watchdog Media Matters, Foxx said in a House floor speech:

“I believe that the greatest fear that we all should have to our freedom comes from this room -- this very room -- and what may happen later this week in terms of a tax increase bill masquerading as a health care bill. I believe we have more to fear from the potential of that bill passing than we do from any terrorist right now in any country.”

A full House floor vote on the health care bill could come as early as Friday.

Re: Foxx: Fear Va Foxx

This "person" is nuts!! She is a DISGRACE to the state of North Carolina! How dare this Flat-Earth, Know-Nothing, Knuckle-Dragging, Mouth-Breathing repoblican compare the effort to provide affordable health care coverage to all Americans to the worst attack by terrorist on our nation. She is the face of the New repoblican Party. We must remember this!

Ooooooo

Re: Foxx: Fear the health bill

Congresswoman Foxx is correct. If this bill passes both the House and Senate it will fundamentally restructure our country in ways that we aren't even aware of right now. The obvious changes will be in lack of choice, huge increase in taxes to pay for it, lack of coverage, waiting lines, bureaucrats making decisions, and on and on. All what has to do to see how this new health care regime will be is to just look at how effectively the government is running the distribution of H1N1 vaccine. Not just in having enough vaccine available but also in who gets it -- prisoners in Gitmo get it but there is not enough for pregnant women?

This woman is either crazy or a fearmonger. I suspect the latter.

The far left is telling us now what we can and cannot eat. Soon they will tell us at what time we can eat and how many children we can have. Wake Up America and take your country back.
