Forty-two minutes, 20 seconds

Dome congratulates Bob Orr on a new record.

The Republican gubernatorial candidate made it 42 minutes and 20 seconds into a debate on WRAL tonight before he mentioned the state constitution.

The hallowed document came up in response to a question about illegal immigration. A former Supreme Court judge, Orr said that he had sworn to uphold the constitution.

Orr's previous record was 28 minutes.

Update: Orr made a second reference when he noted at 53 minutes and three seconds that he hopes a court will overturn the state lottery for being unconstitutional.

As IF there's something WRONG with heeding the guidance of the Constitution? Excuse me?

Does Orr also support Live Legislature ONLINE with streaming video? BEST IDEA EVER to come from Bill Graham!!! Thanks Bill, you may have redeemed yourself...now about those outrageous corporate 'incentives' (payoffs and payouts) Wonder who ALL got their take in the Google SCAM?
