EMILY's List has endorsed Kay Hagan.
The national political action committee endorsed the Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate seat held by Sen. Elizabeth Dole.
"Kay Hagan personifies the strength, experience and tenacity needed to change Washington and to bring North Carolina’s priorities back from those of President Bush," said president Ellen Malcolm in a statement.
Hagan faces Chapel Hill investment banker Jim Neal in the Democratic primary.
The political action committee works to elect pro-choice Democratic women in the U.S. through a network of local advocates.
