U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole's recent ad responds to an attack ad from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee featuring two men in rocking chairs.

The ad is laughable...not the message..but the acting.
I've seen better local car commercials....

I'm not sure what it is.....but I am not convinced the characters are in the North Carolina in which I grew up. The ad doesn't get the stereotype quite right. Maybe they should have gotten Andy Griffith....or at least thrown in a tobacco chew and a spit or two.

That's the weakest, vaguest response I've ever seen in my life. If that's all she's got, she's in trouble. And it's telling they chose to include a clip from the DSCC ad in direct response to it; the ad must be working.
