Dole's new ad

A few things:

1. Dorothy beat the Wicked Witch, and I expect the same to happen this November. I think it was pretty sad Hagan only agreed to run for the seat after the Democrat Party, which prides itself on diversity and tolerance, fretted about an openly gay candidate running for the office.

2. SCHIP is so 2007. It was vetoed and it should have been, but you liberals won't be happy until we have a big socialized medicine bureaucracy in the US... you know, the same kind of program that's worked so well in Cuba, the Soviet Union, England, Canada, etc.

3. The Burr bill allowed transferability, where the Webb bill did not. If the educational benefits were so important, why couldn't a soldier's family have them as well?

Until every citizen has the same health care benefits Liddy Dole has, anything she has to say about health care is irrelevant. Why should she have first-class care when so many of the people she works for have to scrimp and save just to stay out of medical bankruptcy.

Is that the best she can do?

What about health care for children? Dole voted against more affordable health insurance for children(SCHIP).

She voted against improving health care for returning veterans.

She voted against the Webb Amendment, which would have mandated more time between deployments for our troops.

She voted to cut over $40 billion from social, child support and student lending programs.

She voted yes for higher taxes on farmers who produce wind energy.

Does it take "CLOUT" to do all of the above? It's time to send Liddy Dole back to Kansas and put a real North Carolinian in the US Senate.
