Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue had interests in a number of businesses in 2006.
According to her 2006 disclosure form filed with the State Ethics Commission, she had stakes in real estate development firms Woods Quail Limited and BBA Development Corp. and earned income from Geo Dyne Energy Income LTP, a petroleum trust.
Her husband, Robert W. Eaves, had a stake in Real U Inc., a publishing firm; American Credit of Chapel Hill LLC, a finance company; and the Right Stuff Food Stores Inc., a convenience-store chain in Georgia.
The two jointly had a stake in Einstein Industries Inc., a marketing and communications firm for medical, dental and legal industries.
She also held stock in a number of companies, including Wal-Mart, Red Hat, Home Depot, Sears and BB&T.
