Concerned Women PAC endorses McIntyre for Congress

A group of women has endorsed Rep. Mike McIntyre's campaign for reelection from North Carolina's 7th Congressional District. The Concerned Women Political Action Committee is a nationwide group claiming half a million members, and it threw its support behind McIntyre, a Democrat, on Monday.

He "is one of our most reliable members because we can always count on him to be principled," said Penny Nance, the PAC's CEO. "As Co-Chair for the Congressional Prayer Caucus, he works to preserve the values that are the bedrock of our country.  It is an honor to endorse Mike McIntyre for re-election."

The PAC describes its mission as electing "solid pro-family, pro-life conservatives to Congress." McIntyre opposes Republican state Sen. David Rouzer in the race.
