College Republicans launch 'Out of my Parents House' campaign

Sluggish economic recovery has taken a toll on many Americans, but who knows that better than college graduates stuck moving home while they look for work?

That voting bloc is the target of a new campaign - comprised of a Tumblr page, website, online ads and a TV ad - by he College Republicans National Committee.

CRNC said in a release announcing the "Out Of My Parents House" campaign that three of 10 college graduates move back to their parents home.

Watch the 30-second TV spot, airing in North Carolina and other swing states, below:

This is the stupidest ad campaign yet

Seriously? The party that slashed funding for universities and financial aid -- making it harder than ever to afford school and pay off loans -- thinks they own the high ground on the issue of recent graduate employment? You have got to be kidding me.

Maybe all those young Republicans need to get off their fat duffs and get a real job, even if it does feel below their station. Let them experience what it is like for the rest of the world scrambling to get by.

Quit whining and be grateful you have parents you can live with. Besides, your parents deserve you. They're the ones who taught you that you deserve to be rich without working hard. They're the ones who taught you it's every man for himself and everyone else is a freeloader. They're the ones voting for the party that has consistently and repeatedly blocked jobs legislation (just yesterday, jobs for veterans, for gods sake!) and made it impossible for our government to play a proper role in economic development. They deserve you.

So break out those Cheetos, fellows, fire up those video games, sit back on your parents' couches and start daydreaming about what you could have been. Oh yes, and be sure to post lots of angry and uninformed baby-conservative political messages on Facebook. The world needs you.
